KinderBridge / TWC Attendance Setup
Connect your Toddly account to KinderConnect so subsidized attendance is reported automatically — no double-entry required.
What You Need
- Your KinderConnect Provider ID (assigned by your local Workforce Board)
- Your KinderConnect Provider Password
- Your Agency ID (your Workforce Board's agency number)
- If your center serves children from more than one county, the Provider ID for each county
1 Open KinderBridge Settings
Log in to Toddly as a school admin and navigate to KinderBridge / TWC in your school settings.
2 Enter Your Provider ID(s)
- Click "Add another county / Provider ID".
- Fill in:
- Label — a friendly name, e.g. "Gulf Coast" or "Borderplex" (optional, but recommended if you have more than one county)
- Agency ID — the agency number for this Workforce Board
- Provider ID — your KinderConnect Provider ID for this county
- Provider Password — your KinderConnect Provider Password
- Click Save.
Multiple counties? Texas allows a center to care for children from surrounding counties. Each county bills under its own Provider ID. Add one card per county — for example, Provider ID 101 for Borderplex and Provider ID 119 for Gulf Coast.
3 Mark Subsidized Students
On the same settings page you'll see a list of all active students at your school.
- Check the Subsidy box next to each child who receives TWC subsidy funding.
- If you have more than one county Provider ID, select the County / Provider ID that child's bill goes to.
- Click Save Subsidy Changes.
4 Resolve Child IDs
After marking subsidy students and assigning them to a county:
- Click the "Resolve Child IDs" button at the top of the Subsidy Students section.
- Toddly will look up each child's KinderConnect Child ID by matching their name and date of birth.
- Successfully matched children will show their KC Child ID in the table.
- If a child cannot be matched, verify their name and date of birth in Toddly match exactly what is in KinderConnect.
5 Use Toddly Normally
That's it for setup! From this point forward:
- Check in and check out children using the Toddly mobile app as you normally do.
- During each check-in and check-out, the app will prompt for a selfie photo, digital signature, and GPS location — these are required by TWC for subsidy attendance.
- Absences recorded in Toddly are also transmitted automatically.
- Toddly syncs attendance to KinderConnect on a recurring schedule. No manual submission is needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Toddly transmits your attendance records to KinderConnect automatically. You should not need to double-enter attendance.
Make sure the child's first name, last name, and date of birth in Toddly match KinderConnect exactly. Common issues include nicknames (e.g. "Mike" vs "Michael") or incorrect birth dates.
TWC allows backdating up to 6 days. The entry must be made at the provider's location (GPS is verified).
Each check-in and check-out requires a selfie photo of the person entering attendance, a digital signature, and GPS coordinates. The Toddly app guides you through these automatically.
Add one Provider ID card per county in KinderBridge Settings, then assign each subsidy child to the county that child's bill goes to. Toddly handles the rest — it sends each child's attendance to the correct county/Provider ID.
Allow up to one week for sync. Check that the child is marked as subsidized, has a KC Child ID resolved, and that check-ins/check-outs included the required photo, signature, and GPS captures.
